Privacy Policy for Qivio

Thank you for choosing to use Qivio ("the App").
We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to
privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use
it, and your rights in relation to it when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
A. Information Collected Automatically
When you use Qivio, we may automatically collect certain
information about your device and usage, including:
- Device
Data: We may collect device information such as your mobile
device ID, model, manufacturer, operating system version, and IP address.
- Usage
Data: Information regarding your interactions with the App, such
as features used and time spent.
B. Device Permissions
To provide its core functionality, Qivio requests the
following permissions on your device:
- Camera
Permission: We require access to your device's camera strictly
for scanning QR codes and barcodes. We do not record video, take photos
without your consent, or transmit live camera feeds to our servers.
- Storage/Photos
Permission: We require access to your device's storage and photo
gallery to save the QR codes and business cards you generate, and to allow
you to share them.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected (and permissions granted)
to:
- Enable
core app functionalities (scanning and generating QR codes).
- Save
generated QR codes and media directly to your device.
- Serve
advertisements.
- Improve
and optimize the App’s user experience.
Note: Qivio processes your QR code data (such as scanned
links, generated business card details, or WiFi credentials) locally on your
device. We do not store or upload the contents of your scanned or generated QR
codes to external servers.
3. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services that may collect information
used to identify you. The App uses the following third-party services:
- Google
AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the
App. Google AdMob may use device identifiers and cookies to serve
personalized ads based on your interests and past interactions. You can

4. Data Security
The security of your data is important to us. We process
almost all of your data locally on your device (using secure local storage like
MMKV). However, please remember that no method of transmission over the
internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
5. Children's Privacy
Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do
not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under
13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal
information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent
or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal
information, please contact us.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will
notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and
updating the "Effective Date" at the top. You are advised to review
this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
